Joe Holzer is currently a student at Daytona Beach Community College. He plans to transfer to the University of Florida to seek a bachelor's degree for journalism. He spent four years in the United States Navy as an electronic warfare operator/cryptology technician before being honorably discharged. While enrolled in school, he receives the Navy College Fund.
Joe's interests include sports, music, and movies. He enjoys reading, studying La Cosa Nostra, and embarassing himself at karaoke. He is passionate about the Pittsburgh Steelers, boxing, and classic soul music. He has also fronted a few bands. If asked who he idolizes, Joe would answer with Muhammad Ali, Prince, and Elmore Leonard.
Joe aspires to be a sports journalist, commentate boxing matches, and publish novels.
